This results in shorter exam times, quicker results, and fewer reasons for call back visits. It is simply breast screening in a new and improved way.

Digital mammography has attributes that may help a small breast tumor standout from surrounding normal tissue. Digital Mammography is able to enhance visibility by increasing the image contrast between lesions or small clusters of calcifications and the surrounding tissue.
